This is a great way to use up old slices of bread or the end of a loaf! I have a roommate that hate the ends of breads and is paranoid about old food and if I make this I can convice him to eat it instead of throwing it out

Put the frying pan on the stove and let it heat up first. Keep the dial around the middle. Too hot the breads will burn, too low and I get bored and walk away and forget I'm cooking
While the pan is heating up, butter both sides of your breads. Yes, kiddies, both. I've tried doing it In the pan so I don't get the plate all gooey, but I kept getting burnt. Can't reccommend
Then sprinkle lightly (and "lightly" is relative in this case) with the season salt or normal salt and garlic powder. Only do this on one side
Put the bread in the pan seasoned side Down. Season the other side like the first
Brown both sides and serve!
