First, tie all the 3 strands of cord in a basic knot. Then start by making a 4 kind loop with the left strand, over the middle one. Loop it round and pull tight, do this again to complete the knot.
Once you've done that, do the same with the other side keeping the same cord that was in the middle, like a backward 4 knot. Hope this is making sense so far.
Keep repeating the left and right knot steps until you want to add a charm. Thread it through the middle then start to knot again
Add as many charms as you like making sure the middle cord stays in the middle when you're knotting.
When you have your desired length you can either just tie it off or put a clasp (lobster clip) on using the same knot.
