You will need

Tapestry Needle 7 mm Knitting Needles Chunky Wool for 7 mm knitting needles in 2 colors - 6 balls of main color and 1 ball of contrast color

Instructions

1. Cast on 40 stitches with a long-tail cast on.

2. Then follow this pattern (it is a garter stitch scarf) till the end of the scarf 'Knit 39 stitches, bring yarn to the front, slip the next/last stitch, turn the work'

3. At the same time integrate the contrast color in the following way: Knit 20 garter rows in the main color knit 3 rows in contrast color knit 15 rows in main color knit 5 rows in contrast color knit 10 rows in main color knit 8 rows in contrast color knit 5 rows main color knit 11 rows in contrast color knit rest of the scarf in main color

4. When the scarf is as long as the person you are knitting it for, bind off and seam in ends
