Bourbon Blackberry Bramble

Bourbon and Blackberry gather together for a summery cocktail

About

Blackberries and bourbon - two things that strangely remind me of growing up in Cincinnati. My grandparents had wild blackberry bushes that we would go pick berries from as a children, which sounds fun and idealistic, but I'm pretty sure I hated it. My mother and I visited Maker's Mark and other parts of the bourbon trail when I was 15, long before I could drink, but I loved the history and chemistry of it all. I was excited to mix these two delicious things together!
