I was going to a Renaissance festival and needed some way to carry my bottle from last year. If you buy a bottle, it's only a $1 refill for life. Awesome!
But how to carry the stinking bottle?!
Everyone else had these awesome leather things that attached to a belt. I wanted one! So... about thirty minutes and I had one.

You Will Need (5 things)
- Thin or look-alike Leather
- Sewing Machine
- Measuring Tape
- Scissors
- Thread
Steps (7 steps, 30 minutes)

1
Measure the bottle and write down your findings. Add 1/4'' for seam allowances. You will need the following:
~Diameter of the bottle - Measure from one side to the other on the bottom.
~Circumference - Measure around the fat part of the bottle.
~Height - Measure from the bottom of the bottle to the top of the thick part and add 1 1/2''. -
2
Cut out the bottom of the cover. These will be the length of your diameter measurements and 2'' wide.
-
3
Cut out the cover piece of your cover. This will the the circumference X height.
-
4
Fold in half and stitch up the side to make a tube.
-
5
Stitch in the bottom part in the shape of an X (or a t, depending on your perspective).
-
6
Turn right-side-out, put it on your bottle, and cut slits around the top. Lace them up and cinch them closed.
Ta da! You've made a cover for your bottle!
I didn't add this to the tutorial, but I took another narrow length of my fabric and stitched a loop onto the cover so I could wear it on my belt.
