The image of the woman wearing the bottle cap bracelet is a design by Yoav Kotik. After seeing some of his designs I got inspired to try and make some of my own. I experimented with bending and smashing the bottle caps to try and get the shape he had created with his. Although my earrings don't exactly resemble Yoav Kotik's bracelet (pictured above) I'm really happy with them. I hope you like my bottle cap earrings!! :)

First you need to find some bottle caps that will work for this project. In the pic to the left there are two different sizes, and the one that works the best is the larger (red) one. (I use Izze bottle caps)
I don't exactly know how to explain this so bear with me. Take your hammer and gently hammer the center of the bottle cap so that it sinks farther down then the edges. Make sure that the edges do NOT get hammered down!
Now take the edges a forcefully push them towards the middle this makes the pointy-ish ends. (You can use pliers, although I just used my hands, but just use whatever is easiest)
It should look like this, with the the sides almost touching.
Now take your glue gun and glue the earring hooks onto the back of the bottle caps.
Yay!!! Now you have some awesome earrings!!!! :D
