This is really easy. i used a dremel tool to make the holes, but if you don't have anything like that, you can also use small nails. i was missing a button on my coat, so i just removed the remaining one and, tada! i have two really cool buttons that i love! When i sewed the buttons on, i tried to use thread color that would blend in, and i also sewed so i wouldn't cover up the labels too badly. Also, dremeling on metal dulls the bit really fast, so i wouldn't recommend doing this unless you're willing to buy a new one. Luckily, i get them for free.

First, get some bottle caps. i save them from everything i drink, and sometimes i even pick them up off the ground, so i have a crap ton. This is only half of them...
i recommend that you put a piece of something under the cap, so when you dremel through it, it doesn't hit the table.
This is kind of optional, but i did it just to be exact. Mark some dots with a Sharpie for where you want your holes to be. i tried to mark them so it wouldn't mess up the Red Stripe logo.
Take your dremel and drill over the dots. i had to do the little bouncy thing with it, because if i just held it on there, the friction made the bottle cap heat up. So, i'd drill in for a few seconds, then pull the dremel away, then repeat until i had made a hole. On the inside, the metal was sticking out, so i just dremeled that down.
Dust off the metal dust, and you have a lovely button! Hoo-rah!
