No bones about it, this simple project will be a canine complement to your mudroom or doorway.

You Will Need (4 things)
- White pencil or Chalk
- Template (see attachments)
- Doormat , made of coir or jute and rubber-backed, 18 × 30 inches (45.7 × 76.2 cm)
- Heavy-duty Scissors
Steps (3 steps, 15 minutes)

Using the pencil or chalk, trace the template onto the wrong side of the mat.

Using the scissors, cut directly on the line.

When you’ve finished, turn right side up to check that the bone shape looks right. Snip away any areas that appear misshapen.
Note: Depending on what materials the doormat is made from, this project can get quite messy. Do your cutting in an outside area, if possible, where the mess can be easily swept up.
