Add everything into a heavy bottom bottom non-stick pan and heat on medium heat.
Stir constantly. It will start to thicken after 20-25 minutes. Add cardamom powder. Keep stirring.
Once it starts leaving the sides of the pan add a little more ghee and keep stirring. Once it gets a doughy consistency, transfer the mixture onto a greased cookie sheet or aluminium foil. Place another greased sheet on top of the mixture and roll it thin with a rolling pin. Sprinkle chopped pistachios and almonds and roll it again to press and embed the nuts into the dough.
Let it harden a little. Cut into diamonds or squares and serve
