This Indian/Bollywood inspired cake uses bright colours and henna style piping in contrast gold to create a stunning effect. Learn how to pipe the designs onto the top tier of the cake or watch my other tutorial for a full explanation of how to create these designs. Learn how to make some simple frilled flowers using flower and modelling paste and then decorate. Some advance preparation does help - make the flowers about 24 hours in advance.

You will need

Gold Balls
Royal icing in orange
3 tier cake (9", 7" and 5")
Piping bag
Aluminium foil to create moulds
Pearl shimmer spray
Flower and modelling paste or pastillage in your chosen colours
Royal icing in red
