Description

Hardworking Bod clears thick patches of leaves so the forest flowers can bathe in the sun. When he has time, he enjoys a quick sunbathe too!

Instructions

  1. Small screen shot 2013 03 29 at 13.28.37

Trace the pattern pieces and cut them out. Pin the paper shapes to the felt. Draw round and carefully cut out the body.

  2. Small screen shot 2013 03 29 at 13.29.50

Mark the eyes on the back of the face with a pencil. Use black thread to sew the eyes. Start sewing from the back.

Sew the 2 green nose buttons to the front with red thread. Then, use the white thread to sew on the 2 heart-shaped buttons.

Cut the fabric into 2 strips, lengthwise. Fold about 1.5 cm of the ear fabric inwards and glue. Now, fold the fabric in half.

Make 3 folds in the base of each fabric ear. Glue the folds together with a few dots of glue. Stick the fabric ears in position on the inside of the back body.

Use red thread to sew the back and front together. Start from inside the double layer to hide the knot. Leave a small gap for stuffing. Push in the stuffing, stitch the gap closed and finish with a double stitch.
