Begin by sketching your moon design onto a piece of paper, checking that you've got enough EL Wire to go around each line.
Cut out the template and stick it to the acrylic plastic using double sided sticky tape.
Cut around the template using a pair of heavy duty scissors.
Place a sheet of cardboard of newspaper behind your work and get your EL wire.
Starting at the bottom edge, use a hot glue gun to stick the EL wire around the outline of the back of the moon.
Stop just before you reach the facial features.
Using a drill, make a hole at the end of the eye and at the end of each eyelash.
Make a second hole at the top of each eyelash.
Thread the wire down through the hole at the end of the eye and then bring it back through up through the top of the first eyelash and then down at the bottom of the first eyelash.
Repeat this until all the eyelashes have been threaded.
Continue glueing the wire along the outline of the moon until you reach the mouth and drill a hole at the end of the mouth.
Thread the wire along the mouth and then bring it back to the edge along the back, glueing into position on the front and back.
Glue the wire back down to the bottom edge and then remove your template.
Create a couple of stars in a similar style and hang on the wall. Use white electrical tape to cover any exposed wires.
