Cut Out + Keep

Blue Flower Necklace

Flower pendant with wire work and beads

I used my beading board to plan out how long I wanted the necklace to be, and as I made each piece I kept track of how many more pieces I would need. I worked side to side in an effort to keep it even (this was not as even as I had hoped, but not bad for my first ever!) The squiggles were made using a jig and a basic pattern from it, I tightened them up and set them as well as I could with a hammer. I wasn't accustomed to using jump rings yet when I made this, and they probably would have made my life easier when joining the beaded pieces to the squiglles and the pendant!! When making the end loops for the beads, I had to loop it through the squiggle's end loop so that they were joined together...jump ring would have been easier lol. To make the clasp, I used the jig again with a hook and loop type clasp.
