Blackberry Cobbler
Sweet summer treat, good for breakfast or dessert!

You Will Need (12 things)
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp ground Cinnamon (Optional)
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 1/2 cups Fresh Blackberries
- Citrus Zester Or Small Grater
- 1/2 cup Melted Butter
- Glass Oven Safe Pan
- Whisk , Wooden Spoon, Rubber Spatula, Etc...
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Lemon
Steps (7 steps, 100 minutes)

First, you are going to need to pick your fresh blackberries. I had a blackberry bush in my backyard so that made it simple. You will need 2 1/2 cups of fresh blackberries.

Next, gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.

In a bowl, stir the blackberries and the sugar together. Let this mixture sit for about 20 minutes

Grate some lemon zest into your blackberry mixture and squeeze in some lemon juice.
I also added a tablespoon of ground cinnamon to add more flavor. (This is optional)

In a second bowl, stir the flour, baking powder, salt, milk and butter together. Spread this mixture in an 8x8 inch glass baking dish.

Carefully spoon the blackberry mixture on top of the batter.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
