You Will Need (17 things)

Drop Biscuits
- 1 cup Unbleached Flour
- ½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ½ cup Spelt Flour
- ½ cup Almond Flour
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- ¼ tsp Baking Soda
- 3 tsp Unbleached Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ Stick Butter
- 1 3/10 cup Buttermilk or any other milk with 1 tbsp vinegar added

Sausage Gravy
- 1 lbs Sausage(s)
- ½ cup Unbleached Flour
- ¼ cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 3 cup Water
- 3 cup Milk
Steps (8 steps, 35 minutes)

Drop Biscuits
Sift together the unbleached flour, whole wheat flour, spelt flour, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.

Cut in the butter until mealy.

Stir in to make batter:
1 1/3 cup buttermilk or any other milk with 1 tbsp vinegar added -

Drop on flour dusted baking sheet

Bake 15 minutes at 410F or until golden brown

Sausage Gravy
Brown 1 pound of sausage in a large preferably cast iron skillet on medium high heat. -

Stir in unbleached flour, whole wheat flour and brown for 3-5 minutes:

Stir in water and milk.
Simmer until thickened and serve over biscuits.
Grandma says using half water lets the sausage flavor come through.
