About

When I moved in my new flat I had to paint the Walls, and to put some floors in it.
After that I had a lot of garbage lying around.
First I thought of throwing it all away, but then I had the idea of recycle some parts of it.
I wanted to decorate my bathroom and the walls in Hello Kitty style.
Cause I am a hughe Fan and have a lot of Bath-accessoires from her.
So I decided to make a hughe stamp out of the garbage-parts.

You Will Need (8 things)

  • Images
  • Laminate
  • Carpet
  • Empty roll of Tape
  • Permanent Marker
  • Cutting Knife
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Tracing Paper

Steps (8 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

First of all you need a picture of something you wanted to make as a stamp.
Then you need a piece of laminate which you have left. (or maybe you can use other stuff like maybe the cover of an old book..)
then you need a transparent sheet of paper.
A piece of an old carpet (the one you lay in your kitchen or bathroom),
    an empty Roll of double-faced adhesive tape,a permanent marker and a cutter,and a hot-melt-gun.

  2. 2

Put the tranparent sheet of paper on your picture and paint the outlines with your permanent marker.

  3. 3

Now cut out the whole motive with your cutter. Make sure to leave some points so it all stays together.

  4. 4

Take the rest of the carpet and turn on the backside.
Use your permanent Marker and the cut out Motive as pattern to paint on the carpet backside.

  5. 5

cut out all the parts and use your
hot-melt-gun to glue the stuff on your piece of Laminate.

Make sure to remove all glue parts which you don´t need.

  6. 6

Use the old transperent sheet Model to find out in which place you must glue the eyes of the figure.

  7. 7

Take your old and emty roll of double-faced adhesive tape and glue it on the backside of the laminate.

    (use the hot-melt-gun) ;)

  8. 8

Now you can use your new stamp ^^
