Styling Tips: 1. This headband works great when the fabric is a pop color! We used bright purple, but try with red! That would be smokin hot!

Instructions

  1. Small dscn3676

Gather materials and plug in your glue gun.

  2. Small dscn3678

    Fold the fabric in half.

  3. Small dscn3679

Fold in half again so you have a long, thick bundle of fabric. Keep it neat and tidy, this way the bow will be more elegant. For a distressed look...be messy!

  4. Small dscn3681

Now fold it over the other way, doubling the thickness.

  5. Small dscn3682

This is what it should look like before we begin pinching.

  6. Small dscn3683

Pinch the middle as shown. We want to make sure we're going to like the look of the bow before using any glue.

  7. Small dscn3684

Still pinching, take a look at the other side.

  8. Small dscn3686

Cut a 3 inch piece of frosted stud strips. This will end up holding the bow together, and it'll look super cute!!

  9. Small dscn3685

Starting in the middle of the fabric bundle, glue down the end of the stud strip. Once secure, place a good amount of glue on the plastic side of the stud strip and wrap around the fabric. Pinch as you do this to make sure the bow is in tact.

Now glue the bow onto the headband. Make sure to secure both the fabric and the studded area. Lots of glue is key!

Now pair this adorable headband with a matching piece from your closet!
