Steps (1 step, 240 minutes)

CO 52 (56) sts with the color you
prefer; join, being careful not to
twist cast-on row. Work 2 rnds in
k1, p1 rib.
Rnd 3: K1 (0), *M1, k1*; rep from *
to * around = 103 (112) sts.
Rnd 4: Knit around (no increases).
Rnd 5: *M1, k6*; rep from * to *
around and end k1 (4) = 120
(130) sts.
Continue in stockinette until piece
is 5. (6) in / 13 (15) cm long.
1st dec round: *K10 (11), k2tog*;
rep from * to * around.
2nd dec round: *K9 (10), k2tog*;
rep from * to * around = 110 (120)
sts remain.
3rd dec round: *K8 (9), k2tog*; rep
from * to * around = 100 (110) sts
remain.
Continue decreasing on every
round, with 1 less st between
decreases on each rnd, until 10 sts
remain.
Next rnd: *K2tog*; rep from * to *
around = 5 sts remain.
Knit 3 more rounds without
decreasing.
Cut yarn and draw end through
remaining 5 sts; pull tight. Weave
in all ends neatly on WS.
