I liked the idea (and Mario), but I wanted it to be different, so, I changed it to be longer in the back to accommodate me.

You Will Need (2 things)
- Needle And Thread
- Fabric
Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)
-
1
Gather materials.
Cut one circular piece of fabric.
(One of mine had some stitching in it, ignore it.) -
2
Cut another circle, making it slightly bigger than the first. This ensures that the hat will be slouchy.
-
3
(Sorry, no picture)
Cut a circle out of the middle of the smaller circle. Make sure you can fit your head through it. You might have to adjust it to get the right size.
-
4
This is sort of hard to describe, but not hard to do.
Align the two big circles together. Pin it if you need to. -
5
Sew around the edges of the two big circles.
You can also hem the edges of the smaller circle if you want, for a more refined looking hat. -
6
Flip it inside out and voila! A beret like hat. Wear it on the crown of your head like a slouchy beret.
I use bobby pins to keep it in place because I have a small head.
