Description

I was working on my mask with aluminum and I realized that I could use aluminum to make the ears bend the way I wanted them to. Just like Eartha Kit's in the original Batman tv show. These were PUUUUUUURRfect!!

Instructions

  1. Small img 1433 1288451051

Start off with some aluminum. You want a pretty big piece so i comes out thick. You can draw a triangle on it with a Sharpie if it helps.

  2. Small img 1439 1288452426

Shape it into a triangle. But you want the bottom kind of wide.

  3. Small img 1453 1288453992

Sew a square piece of clothe, around the triangle.

  4. Small img 1454 1288458297

Fold in the cloth and keep sewing. It's okay if it doesn't look clean, this will end up being the back.

  5. Small img 1455 1288458687

After you're done sewing it the back should look like this.

  6. Small img 1456 1288458747

The front will be smooth and clean and should look like this.

  7. Small img 1458 1288458815

now what you want to do is fold a part of the bottom towards the back of the ear. Then turn it over, have the front of the ear face you, and you want to slightly fold it down the middle to give that hollow caved in look. It should stand up, just like the picture.

Make another ear and your done.

  9. Small img 1462 1288459042

To put them in your hair, all you have to do is use some bobby pins. slide them over the small flaps you made on the back of the ears.
