These bee-noculars are perfect for little ones to take with them while out and about. The adorable bee design makes them a fun toy, and of course, they'll be better able to see the wonderful world of bugs, plants, and rocks around them!
These bee-noculars are perfect for little ones to take with them while out and about. The adorable bee design makes them a fun toy, and of course, they'll be better able to see the wonderful world of bugs, plants, and rocks around them!
Start by cutting out the following: 1. A yellow piece of paper cut to 4 1/2"x 8" 2. Three strips of black paper cut to 1/4" by 8". 3. Two antennae-shaped black pieces. 4. 2 wing-shaped white pieces.
Glue the 2 toilet paper tubes together. Allow to dry.
Wrap the tubes with the yellow paper and glue it down. The paper will overlap at the back for easy gluing.
Lay out each of the black strips and put a line of glue on them. The, glue them to the yellow paper. You want to leave about 1/3 of the space without stripes. This is for the face.
Add the face by gluing 2 wiggle eyes to the front, then drawing on features with a marker.
Next, fold each wing over approximately 1/4". Glue each wing to the body of the bee.
Last, use the hole punch to make a hole on each side of the bee and string the yarn through. Tie off the ends, and take your bee-noculars out for an adventure!
