You Will Need (8 things)

  • 2 Toilet Paper Tube
  • Yarn
  • Hole Punch
  • Elmer's Glue
  • Scissors
  • Construction Paper (yellow, black, and white)
  • 2 Wiggle Eyes (small)
  • Marker

Steps (7 steps, 35 minutes)

  1. 1

Start by cutting out the following:
    1. A yellow piece of paper cut to 4 1/2"x 8"
    2. Three strips of black paper cut to 1/4" by 8".
    3. Two antennae-shaped black pieces.
    4. 2 wing-shaped white pieces.

  2. 2

Glue the 2 toilet paper tubes together. Allow to dry.

  3. 3

Wrap the tubes with the yellow paper and glue it down. The paper will overlap at the back for easy gluing.

  4. 4

Lay out each of the black strips and put a line of glue on them. The, glue them to the yellow paper. You want to leave about 1/3 of the space without stripes. This is for the face.

  5. 5

Add the face by gluing 2 wiggle eyes to the front, then drawing on features with a marker.

  6. 6

Next, fold each wing over approximately 1/4". Glue each wing to the body of the bee.

  7. 7

Last, use the hole punch to make a hole on each side of the bee and string the yarn through. Tie off the ends, and take your bee-noculars out for an adventure!
