You Will Need (8 things)
- 60 Assorted Buttons , aprox
- Clasp
- Jumprings
- 2 Blunt Tapestry Needle
- Embroidery Floss
- Jewelry Chain
- 2 Flat Nose Pliers
- 6/0 Glass Seed Beads
Steps (13 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
Assemble your supplies. You can use any 2 or 4 hole buttons; I just happened to like this assorted pack. Make sure your needle will pass thru your 6/0 beads.
-
2
On a 3 yard length of floss, thread a seed bead aprox. 5" from the end, and stitch back thru it.
-
3
Add a button to the floss, leaving a little space between it and the bead.
-
4
Add another bead and stitch back thru it.
-
5
Continue adding beads and buttons until the beaded length is 15".
-
6
At 15", leave a 5" gap and string another bead. Repeat the process for another 15".
-
7
Repeat this stringing pattern a total of 4 times.
-
8
Gather your 4 segments together.
-
9
Tie the loose ends together, so that the unbeaded loop is aprox. the same length as the others (5").
-
10
Gather the ends into 2 jumprings.
-
11
Grasp the jumprings and tie an overhand knot in the floss, between the jump rings and the beaded segments.
-
12
Add a clasp to one jumpring amd a chain to the other. With a large jumpring, add a button dangle.
