Gather your shiz! I used a satin cord for my necklace but I think it would work well with a leather cord too.
Cut your cord about six inches longer then the length you want the necklace to be and then wrap it in wire like so. ------------------------------------------------>
Overlap the ends of your cord by six inches (it should be wrapped in wire, I was just too lazy to do it again).
Wrap one of the overlapping ends in wire to secure it, but leave the other one open. Don't cut it there, leave about 10 inches of wire to put the beads on.
Put your first bead the wire. Cross the cord over itself on the other side of the bead and then wrap with wire like in the picture.
Continue step 5 with all you beads. When you're done, just wrap the other end in wire to secure it (you have to pull really tight).
You're done! You can put a clasp in the back or just cut it and tie it (that's what I did).
