About
These are basic beaded flowers which you may have seen around. They have multiple used besides hair ornamentation. Each one took me about ten minutes to make, but if you aren't used to working with small beads it will probably take longer.

You Will Need (6 things)
- Seed Beads
- Or Scissors
- Jewelry Wire
- Sequins
- Bobby Pin(s)

Steps (7 steps, 15 minutes)

Supplies include seed beads - I didn't use the smallest - these are size 8. I used telephone wire which I already had, you can use wire of any gauge, 26 gauge is recommended. If it is thin it may not keep the shape well. For accents I used a sequin or plastic bead, but try anything that works!

Thread your seed beads onto the wire. I used 15 for each petal. Then form a loop and twist it closed like you are twisting the wire on a bread bag.

Repeat.

Repeat until you have as many petals as you want. Three green petals would make a nice shamrock, four "petals" of varying colors and sizes could be a butterfly.

When you have all of your petals made, space them apart neatly. String your accent (bead or sequin) and then a seed bead. Loop the wire back through the accent bead and pull tight. This part is tricky. (Pic is a side angle view)

Wrap each end of the wire around the bobby pin. Then pull them together and twist several times. Trim the wire at the end of the last twist. Bend the twist so that it is out of the way and camoflouged.
