A quick and simple way to make a pair of drop earrings using beads you may have lying around. You can alter the colour of the findings to match existing accessories.
A quick and simple way to make a pair of drop earrings using beads you may have lying around. You can alter the colour of the findings to match existing accessories.
Thread a large bead onto a headpin.
Thread three round beads onto an eye pin. I had a packet of these beads which were about fifty for £1.
Using round nosed pliers, form a loop in the end of the eye pin. Do the same to the headpin holding the large bead.
Attach a split ring to one of the loops. You can also use jump rings if you prefer.
Attach the loop you made in the headpin to the split ring, and attach the split ring to the loop you made in the eye pin.
Attach a fish hook earring to the top loop of the eye pin using another split ring.
Repeat the process to make a second earring!
