i found this idea on pinterest, and loved it! hubs gave me a t-shirt he got that didn't fit him right so he gave it to a very happy me :D i made a few changes with my version to up the cuteness factor :)
i found this idea on pinterest, and loved it! hubs gave me a t-shirt he got that didn't fit him right so he gave it to a very happy me :D i made a few changes with my version to up the cuteness factor :)
first, lay flat and smooth out wrinkles. mark off where you need to trim the shirt down with chalk. i grabbed another shirt i made that fits well and traced that, making the neck a little bit narrower. cut along the lines. (i forgot to get a picture of this next part) cut a semi-circle shape out of each shoulder. turn the shirt inside out, pin the sides and sew them up.
thread a needle and create gathers on the sleeve. i wrap the needle and thread around a couple times to secure and tie off the thread.
take the ribbon and tie it around the thread, then tie it in a pretty bow. use needle and thread to stitch the bow in place so it doesn't come undone.
try it on and marvel at your awesomeness :D
