Instructions

1. 

   first well you need to know the basic parts of your eye area. excuse the drawing : ) for a better example go here http://www.temptalia.com/images/2007/eyeparts.jpg

2. what goes where? okay well in the smokey eye... -the brow bone area will always have a light shimmering color to define the brow and bring light to the eyes this should be the last eye shadow you apply

3. -the above crease area it the area that will get most of the blending meaning that you won’t apply eye shadow directly -the outer crease should be the darkest and you should apply eye shadow in a sideways v shape(>) here going from your outer crease on to the outer eyelid this should be the last eye shadow you apply

4. The eyelid has three parts, -inner (closest to tear duct) which is the first shadow you apply and you would do so to the whole eyelid you should apply a shadow darker than the one in the brow bone but lighter than the rest of the eyelid which will provide that gradient effect. --the middle lid is where you slightly intensify the color more, adding a bit of a shimmering shade to this area will provide dimension to the eye.this should be the second eye shadow you apply and should be applied from the middle of the eyelid to the outer eyelid. -The outer which shares upper half with the outer crease is the area in the lid that should be the most intense since you share half of that section with the outer crease.

5. The lower lash line is divided in two -the inner is closest to the tear duct and it has a light shadow usually the same eye shadow that you would use for the inner eyelid -the outer is the other half of the eye and you would usually use the eye shadow used in the middle or outer part of the crease

6. Tear duct area- This area is not shown in the picture :/ but it is where the inner lid and inner lash line meet the make up in this area is usually the lightest and most shimmering to help brighten the eye you may use the shade being used in the brow bone area

7. Okay that was a lot of explaining to do! Well just make sure that you blend (for those of you who are not sure what that is, it’s when you take a blending brush or just a pretty fluffy brush and in circular motions blend any harsh lines to give it a gradient/smokey effect)well and apply eyeliner and mascara so that the eye pops and does not look like someone punched you ha ha :)
