for this you will need the base cuff you made with my first tutorial and a selection of three colors of beads (in my case, pink, hot pink, and white.)
for this you will need the base cuff you made with my first tutorial and a selection of three colors of beads (in my case, pink, hot pink, and white.)
take your finished base buff and if you have no extra string or snipped if off after you tied it off you will need at attach a long piece of string to the top of your cuff and then string it through the nearest whit bead.
decide on a pattern of five beads to follow (in my case pink, hot pink, white, hot pink, pink) and string the five beads.
thread your string through the nearest white bead in the center. Be careful not thread through the first white bead from the top.
thread five more beads in the same pattern and thread through the next white bead at the top of the cuff skipping one white bead from the bead you started with.
Continue this all the way around the cuff.
thread two beads fallowing the same pattern (in my case pink, hot pink)
thread two beads fallowing the same pattern (in my case pink, hot pink)
thread your sting through the center bead.(in my case the white bead.)
string two more beads in the same pattern of course. And thread through the next white bead at the top of the cuff.
Continue this all the way around the cuff.
thread your string through the next little pyramid of beads so it is emerging from one of the center white beads.
repeat the entire process on the bottom side of the cuff.
once you have completed the bottom side of your cuff thread your string to center(white bead) of the nearest pyramid.
now thread five more beads in the same pattern as before and thread your string through the next white bead on the opposite side of the cuff. (Basically the same procedure as before.)
continue this all the way around your cuff. Then just as you did with the first layer of your cuff string two beads and thread through the center bead (the white one), do this all the way around your cuff, tie it off and you are done! I hope this is helpful and that your cuffs look lovely. I would love to see them. If you have any questions or some thing is unclear ask and I will try to explain.
