Baroque Headband (D&G Inspired)

I´m currently obsessed with the d%g fw2012 collection,so I´ve made a headband...and earrings,both using the same kind of pearls and tulle.I use a vinil headband because it was impossible to find a velvet one.
You can use glue instead of needle and thread if you want,so have fun!

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 1 plastic,velvet or cotton Headband
  • Scissors
  • Needle And Thread
  • Glass Beads
  • plastic or freshwater Pearl(s)
  • Needle And Thread Or Glue If You Preffer
  • Sequins
  • Rhinestone(s)
  • Tulle
  • A Steady Hand And Patience

Steps (11 steps, 90 minutes)

    First of all you need to make sure your glass beads,pearls,sequins and flowers can pass through your needle.This will be the base of all the flowers,start threading your needle and making a knot in the end,cut the remains

    Put a glass bead

  3. 3

    Then a flower,and a sequin(optional)

  4. 4

    Choose an A and B side for the headband,A is the visible side so make the sewings on B,considering this,stick the needle in the place where your flower is going to be

    Sew a stitch on B and cut

  6. 6

    For the pearls,make the stitch first

  7. 7

    Secure it with a stitch and take the needle,make another stitch

  8. 8

    make a little tulle bow

  9. 9

    Attach it to the headband

  10. 10

    Add a rhinestone

  11. 11

    Continue on sewing flowers and pearls,when you feel it´s enough then is ready ;)
