Click to enlarge photos. Individual photos of these barbies can be found here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/devinahanna/sets/72157622471917636/ Anyway, I did these for an english independent study project, i was researching on alternative hairstyles and this was one of my "responses". Sorry for the provocative (lack of) outfit, but its just so that the mohawks will become the focal point. Of course, i looked around the internet on how to do mohawks and after gathering bits of info from here and there, i decided to experiment with the Mohawk, fauxhawk and liberty spikes. No one would let me do it to their hair and who could blame them, so i did it on a trio of old barbies. Bless their poor naked souls. It's actually not as hard as i thought it would be, the step by step process itself is quite interesting. Because of this project, i'm actually considering on getting that sort of faux hawk myself. ps: I added eyeliners and a mole or two to make them look more hardcore :)
