You Will Need (11 things)

  • Shortcrust Pastry
  • Toffee

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 5 oz Butter
  • 14 oz tin Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Filling

  • 2 Bananas Sliced
  • Topping

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 oz Chocolate

Steps (8 steps, 60 minutes)

    Roll & bake the pastry.

    If you prefer use biscuit crumbs & butter.

    Toffee...

    Heat butter & sugar together until sugar dissolves.

    Simmer for 5 mins.

    Pour in the condensed milk.

    Stir & bring back to a simmer.

    Keep on the heat for approx 10 mins until thickened & golden.

    Stir in the salt.

    Or if you prefer use store bought caramel.

    Slice banana & place in the bottom of the pie dish.

    Pour caramel over the banana.

    Topping...

    Whip the cream.

    Pour on top of the caramel.

    Decorate the top with Grated chocolate or sprinkles.

    Cut & serve.
