This super easy banoffee pie is quick to make and perfect for a summer day. For an even more refreshing taste, keep the pie in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before serving.
This super easy banoffee pie is quick to make and perfect for a summer day. For an even more refreshing taste, keep the pie in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before serving.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (375F). In a medium bowl, mix the crumbled cookies with melted butter.
Press the mix on the bottom and sides of a round baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Cool down the crust. In the meantime, slice bananas in 5mm thin slices and whip the cream. When the crust has cooled, add a layer of dulce de leche.
On the next layer, add the bananas.
Next, add an even layer of whipped cream.
On top, grate a bar of chocolate over the pie. Cool the pie in a fridge for at least an hour before serving.
