This is based on a tutorial for a ballerina bun remixby The Beauty Department. I ended up doing a variation and instead of braiding the hair I ended up twisting two strands of hair together because braiding your hair while upside down is very difficult to try to make it look decent. Use a dime sized dollop of hair gel or pomade and work through hair. Separate hair into front and back sections.
Bend over at waist and starting at the nape french braid or twist hair towards the top of the crown and secure with elastic. de down and french braiding hair from the bottom up to the crown, securing, teasing hair for volume, spinning into a bun on top of the head and securing.
Comb back front of hair into high ponytail combining tail of braid and secure with elastic. Tease pony tail slightly then spin into a bun and secure bun with bobby pins.
