You Will Need (8 things)

  • Custard

  • 5 large Eggs Room temp
  • 3 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Topping

  • Sugar

Steps (8 steps, 60 minutes)

    Heat oven 350/175 degrees.

    Whisk eggs together with two cups of milk.

    Heat remaining milk until hot but not boiling.

    Add vanilla.

    Slowly add hot milk to egg mixture.

    Stir continuously.

    Add sugar & salt.

    Mix until dissolved.

    Pour into ramekins.

    Place in baking tray with water.

    Reduce temp to 325/162 degrees.

    Bake for 40-50 mins until jiggly & set.

    Remove from tray & allow to cool completely.

    Place in fridge until needed.

    Sprinkle top with sugar & blow torch until melted & browned.

    Serve straight away.
