I love creating these hats, they always get such a great response from new mums. Once I know who it is going to I tend to put a few added decorations to them to personalise them. There's nothing like giving a gift that you have made yourself.

You will need

1 packets 4 mm Knitting Needles I find bamboo needles work best for me 1 skein Double knit wool Wool I tend to use a very soft wool that won't be scratchy once finished, nicer on the head.
