Making up Bathing Suit Sew in loose ends, sew up sides, being careful not to go too far down the leg as the suit will be too hard to put on. You can fancy up the bathing suit using a shell stitch around the neck or leg area. I did some little bright buttons to put down the front using this method. Ch 3, sc 6 in 3rd chain from hook, sl st to join fasten off.
