This meal is super easy and there is no rolling or cutting involved. My husband and I have this for supper once a week. I don't make the gravy from scratch. Our favorite gravy is Pioneer Pepper Gravy which we have found at Walmart and Kroger. I always add cheese to my plate; my favorites are Mexican blend shredded (not the kind with the spices) and Colby jack.

Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut the shortening in with a fork then add the milk. Drop by spoon (you can make a dozen, but I make six big ones) onto a prepared baking sheet (parchment paper is a life saver!). Bake at 450f for 12 to 15 minutes.
