These really tasted like those store-bought ones and were a hit with my family. So gonna make these again! :D For the glazes, you can have them sweet/salty. SWEET: Melt butter, sugar and cinnamon. Brush/dip this onto the pretzels AFTER you've baked them. SALTY: BEFORE baking them, sprinkle salt on them so they can melt during the baking process. Using a brush, brush some olive oil on it. (I did mine sweet.) Inspiration: http://www.auntieannes.com/Products/Pretzels.aspx HAPPY PRETZEL-ING! :D

Mix the packet of yeast in the 1.5 cup warm water stir it 'til it dissolves. (It may stink. Mine did.) Let's call this 'Solution A'
Add the brown sugar and salt into 'A' 'til they dissolve.
Mix 'A' to the flour. Knead til it becomes dough.
Leave the dough to rise for 30-45 mins.
After it has risen, cut the dough to pieces. Knead it into the shape that you want it to be. (e.g. sticks, nuggets or like braids) You can view my other tutorial on how to make Auntie Anne's signature pretzel shape.
Mix the other 1/2 cup warm water with the 1/2 tsp baking soda. This is solution 'B'
Dip/brush 'B' onto the dough.
Place the dough onto a tray with parchment paper or greased with butter or sprayed with cooking spray. DON'T FORGET the salt if you are doing salty version
Bake in oven for about 10 minutes or until golden. Oven temp: 450 fahrenheit 230 celsius
Do the glaze and you're done! :D
