Hahahah my grandpa used to brush his teeth this way for YEARS. His teeth were probably the healthiest in my family xD
I used it for a while, brushing with toothpaste as least once a day, and I wasn't getting any cavities or sore spots, and they were pretty white. My teeth are getting a little discolored again, so I think I'll do this again. Yup.
Yea this is something my dad taught me since we both like tea and tea stains teeth.
I use a little salt too occasionally or like one poster said, a little hydrogen Peroxide. Makes it feel like the cleanest mouth EVER. Really effective when you want a clean mouth but no minty taste like before eating or before you kiss someone and don't want them to know you freshened up.
Yeah, I do this sometimes but I mix my baking soda with peroxide to a paste consistency, it does lighten up to a few shades. Doing this too much will make your teeth sensitive and really not good for the enamel, so doing this once or twice a month is about right and still way cheaper than the store bought stuff.
