So, a while back, I wanted to practice different things, like watercolor painting, drawing, and stamping. Someone told me about ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) and I got hooked! These are examples of some of the ones I've made and traded over the last couple of years. Since they're small (2.5" X 3.5") they don't take long to complete, and I love swapping them with other creative people all over the world. I use all sorts of things to make mine - lots of paper and collage (I like to use the hand-marbled paper I learned how to make here on CO + K!) ribbons, thread, rhinestones, flat metal charms, stickers, temporary tattoos, sequins, colored pencils, found poetry, acrylic and watercolor paints, found items, and scrapbooking embellishments. I am doing a swap here on CO + K this month, I'll post pics of some of the ones I make for that when they're finished. Also, if you have a theme or medium in mind and you'd like to swap some cards with me, send me an email (I don't always remember to check my messages here regularly!) My email is lolababalon@gmail.com - let me know what you have in mind, and how many you want to trade. Some of the themes I've done are... halloween/zombie/horror/metalocalypse/hello kitty/flamingos/mixed media/cartoon villains/cubes/cupcakes... and lots more.
