  • Step 1

Step 1: Choose a couple of materials that in size, are about 1 metre each.

  • Step 2

Step 2: when you have the main colour you want the apron , at aprox. 50cm down the side of the material mark a line with your chalk and cut inwards about 25cm, do this on either side of the peice of material.

  • Step 3

Step 3:put your scissors on the point to where you finished cutting inwards, then turn your scissors upwards towards the top of the material, do this for either side of the material.

  • Step 4

Step 4: you are now left with a T shape (when turned upside down). The sides of the T will be the sides of the apron that wrap around your hips/waist. You will need to get two thin strips of material about the same size and and sew them to the tops and ends of the sides.

  • Step 5

Step 5: then go to the bottom of the T and add one long strip of material going from one side ( at the bottom of the T that is!) to the other side of the T ( still at the bottom!) then sew the ends on and VIOLA when your masterpeice is turned around and fitted properly you have an apron!

  • Step 6

P.S - this is optional but if you wish you can add a pocket at the front by sewing a wide rectangle of material along the waist area of the apron. enjoy.
