My senior year of high school, my art portfolio teacher had hard bound sketchbooks for sale. He made the comment to me one day that I could collage in it. I wanted to buy one, but didn;t want to spend the money. Then for my 18th birthday, I got some scratchcards and won 5$. I put it towards one of those sketchbooks. I decided that I would collage on every page till I filled it up. It's been a year exactly and I've filled up over 80 pages with collages. These are just some of my favorites. All the pages are inspired either by song lyrics or things that people have said to me. Or a bit of both. But all the pages I can look at and remember exactly how I felt that day, good or bad, or what event may have happened. For instance there's about a good 10 pages of work from when i was madly in love in someone, and it shows, and I'll never forget. Its easy to do this, it takes no skill and makes a wonderful sort of nontraditional scrapbook, and in a way, it's good therapy.
