"Arroz Con Leche" Rice Pudding

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 4 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Strips Lemon Peel
  • 2 in Cinnamon Stick
  • ½ cup Rice
  • 3/10 cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Brandy
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Steps (3 steps, 20 minutes)

    Bring the milk, lemon peel, and cinnamon stick to a boil

    Add rice and reduce heat to a low simmer for 1 hour uncovered
    stir frequently to prevent burning add sugar and raisins and continue to stir to prevent sticking

    Remove from heat when reaches thick and creamy consistency

    This pudding can be served chilled.
