Styling Tips: 1. This adorable headband will add some punch to your holiday look! Mix with black and gold.
Gather your materials.
Fold one yard of antique lace as shown, with edges meeting in the middle.
Fold this entire piece in half, making sure there are no visible loose threads.
Pinch the middle and behold the bow taking shape!
Cut a 4" piece of duct tape to be used in the bow's center. Our's is super-shiny! Fold as shown.
Cut an additional 1" piece of duct tape.
Tip: Ribbon can be used as well, though duct tape is fun and also very sturdy. Check our shop for DIY ribbons to use!
Pinching the bow shape in one hand, wrap 4" piece of duct tape around center.
Secure closed with 1" piece of duct tape.
Now cut a 4" strip of duct tape, and cut that in half to create two strips.
Use these strips to attach the bow to the headband.
Wrap it tightly so it doesn't fly off when you're dancing! ;)
Voila! Now you're ready to go.
