I haven't worked with polymer clay in a long time, and I failed twice before managing something wearable. The snake-handled mirror was my first attempt, and I got it too close to the heat source in the oven, and it bubbled in two places. The rose vines mirror was the second attempt, and when I finished it I used polyurethane varnish, but I coated it too thickly, so it has a clumpy, slimy-looking, peeling finish.

The third mirror is much smaller than the first two, closer in size to Christina's original. It, like its predecessors, is colored with metallic eyeshadow. This one has a light coating of watered-down polyurethane varnish, which worked well. I over-microwaved the CD and the foil was very delicate, which is why it's a bit off. The finding on the back is a bent needle threader that lost its wire (colored with black Sharpie) and attached with super glue, which I think worked very well. I might try again to get closer to Christina's incredible mirror. :)
