In this scrapbooking and mixed media tutorial you'll learn how to use an embroidery hoop to create a circular layout, full of little details and many layers.

Instructions

  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NebwR_KJODc Mark the circumference of your embroidery hoop on a piece of cardstock and cut it. Repeat on tow pieces of scrapbooking paper. Use your hands to tear one of them in a half. Glue both scrapbooking pieces to the yar cardstock.

  2. Cover the embroidery hoop with white gesso. and dry. Glue it to the paper. Protect the paper with clear gesso.

  3. Fussy cut some matching paper embellishments. Paint some paper leaves with metallic paints and dry. Add some Starburst Spray shimmer to your background paper. Dry. Use a stencil to add some transparent texture paste. Add embossing powders on top and melt.

  4. Cover some chipboards with embossing ink and powders. Add snowflake paste all around the embroidery hoop. Dry. make splatters with diluted metallic paint.

  5. Build your layout composition in the lower part of the circle, surrounding the photo with the chipboards, leaves, paper flowers and die cutting leaves. Add a little cluster on the top part to get some balance. Add some snowflake paste on top of the flowers. Glue some glitter here and there.
