I'm lactose intolerant and everything dairy kills me. I recently got almond breeze milk, it tastes kinda gross but better than lactaid is there a way I could make it taste sweeter?
Help! After you soak the almonds in the water for 1 hour, do you put the whole dish WITH the water in the fridge. Do you use that same water to blend with the almonds or do you use clean water? I'm assuming you use the water you soaked them in. Also, the ingredient list says 1.0 almonds - is that 1 cup or 1 # or what? thanks very much. marye
Just so you know (though I absolutely adore this and am not a vegan- just vegetarian) honey makes it non-vegan-friendly, because honey is made by bees.
But other than that, this is fantastic! Can't wait to make it! ^_^

All together you want to soak your almonds for about 5-8 hours.
It's best to wash your almonds once you have finished soaking them in a strainer.
Since the upgrade of this site things have gone a little funny... it should say 1 cup of almonds
and 1 date.. not honey.
But other than that, this is fantastic! Can't wait to make it! ^_^
