Using tea staining technique, reuse old paper or card stock. In this case, i used old sheet music that i was going to put in the recycling bin. Although this technique uses teabags (I drink a lot of tea!) , the same thing can be done using coffee grounds or natural dyes such as red onion peels. In fact the longer you leave it to infuse the darker the colour.

Steep the teabags in the hot water for approx. 10 mins in the bowl then remove.
Completely immerse the card / paper stock in the liquid & leave to soak for 10 mins.
Remove the card / paper from the liquid & leave to air dry overnight on a towel. If you are in a hurry you can CAREFULLY dry them in the oven for 5 mins.
Let your card / paper completely dry before decorating or embellishing them with inks, powders etc.
