Mine came out runny. Like, really runny. I had to add more flour and sugar until it actually looked, felt, and tasted like dough.

not sure,to be honest...try a different flavour if you don't want/have rum...perhaps almond? or maybe coffee...because it could be rather bland otherwise...

thanks! We preheat the oven pretty much at maximum,I preheated it to 240. I don't think you need more than this. Maybe even a little less.

try real rum...I don't know what could you replace with,since that is the essence that goes best with chocolate...perhaps almond essence would go with it,too...

Hmm, I made some cookies similar to this but I just cute the white dough into strips and dipped one side in cinnamon. :3 Really yummy though! I want to try it with rum, ha.
